Research Papers of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences

The "Scientific Papers of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences" (PL ISSN 1509-0760) publishes original papers in the fields of chemical and process engineering, including: chemical reactor engineering and catalytic processes; modern, energy-saving separation methods (adsorption and membrane processes); thermodynamics and transport phenomena; selected issues relating to environmental protection, renewable energy and bioprocess engineering; and mathematical modelling and optimisation of processes.

Articles should be prepared in compliance with the detailed regulations for authors and the accompanying instructions. The instructions set out the content-related and technical requirements for texts to be printed using the photo-offset method.

Manuscripts are subject to review, based on which the Editorial Board decides whether to accept them for printing. The review procedure complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as set out in the brochure entitled "Good practices in peer review procedures in science". At least two experts assess each paper using the review form.

The editorial staff periodically publish the list of reviewers in the journal.

The editorial staff make every effort to implement these procedures, ensuring that scientific papers are original and meet the principles of the Polish Scientific Bibliography, while eliminating cases of dishonesty in science (ghostwriting, guest authorship).
