Abstract: The problems related to the utilization of low-concentration methane emitted with the ventilation air from coal mines into the atmosphere are discussed. A short review of the methods of such utilization proposed in the literature was made, with particular emphasis on the aspects of industrial implementation on large-scale facilities. The work includes the experimental and simulation experiences of ICE PAS in the thermal combustion of methane in a flow reversal reactor.
