Abstract: Open cellularceramic foam with the Mn-Cu catalyst layered was investigated in the toluene combustion process. Foam morphology was studied using computed microtomography. The results proved satisfactory functioning of the foam supported catalyst, better than the monolith supported one, probably due to more intense mass transfer of the foam-based reactor.
